Neverwinter
Summary
Section titled SummaryThe capitol city of The Sword Coast. The city has a long and storied history under many years of rule by the Alagondar Family before the events of The Ruining.
Dagult Neverember was self-titled the Lord Protector of the city following his heroic deeds to save the city and it’s people from the danger.
In the 16 years since, parts of the city have flourished while others are still recovering.

Section titled Pre-RuiningBefore The Ruining, a Monarchy ruled over Neverwinter for centuries before suddenly coming to an end in 786 Ag.
It is known that there were 7 Noble Families that helped govern the city.
Noble Families
Section titled Noble FamiliesIncluding the Alagondar Family, there were 7 Noble Families of Neverwinter. Each of these families were identified by a crest of an animal.
The Royal Lion: Monarchical family - ruled the politics and day-to-day affairs of the city when they were in power.

Post-Ruining
Section titled Post-RuiningSince Dagult Neverember’s rise-to-power in 786 Ag, his word has pretty much gone unchallenged. Many of the Noble Families were dissolved or absorbed into the throne in the first 5 years of his rule.
Sometime in 791 Ag; a resistance group called the Alagondar Trust arose voicing the concerns with his rule.
Post Dagult
Section titled Post DagultFollowing the death of Dagult Neverember; it is unclear who will control the city now. A turf war is taking place between Oskar Kryme and the Alagondar Trust.

A lot of residents of the city have taken refuge in the library and the nearby Sect. Allison Starling is trying her hardest to help as many people as she can but she is running out of room fast - not to mention resources like food.
