Dagult Neverember

Summary

Dagult Neverember was a human male who ruled over the city of Neverwinter until his death in 802 Ag.

While his rise to power had him presented as a saviour of the town; seizing control from the previous monarchy and saving the city from The Ruining, it was later revealed that he had orchestrated the disaster to further his criminal exploits.

Supernatural Persuasion

As part of his deal with whatever entity he has a pact with, Dagult Neverember had a significantly increased ability to persuade people to do his bidding.

It was extreme enough that prolonged exposure to this ability could strip people of their free will entirely - something he did to Lamoira as punishment for taking Uganda Pickles captive, which gave Amylthas cause to investigate his activities.

Death

§Section titled Death

Cornered by the Royal Guard and The Bussy Knights, he attempted to buy himself time by taking hostages. Despite this, his deteriorated mental state led to miscalculations on his part and he was slain by Mike Hawk after a lengthy battle under The Broom and the Bean.

Known to only those in the room at the time of his death, a shadowy claw apparated in and passed through Dagult’s body. His eyes were turned entirely white and his mouth was removed entirely from his face.

His corpse was left with the authorities in Amylthas.
