Section titled TownmasterThe Townmaster is the leader of Phandalin and is elected via popular vote. The Townmaster is also aided by a Townmaster’s Hand - who is also democratically elected.
Laws and standards are set by the Townmaster to allow for better political relations with larger towns and allow for the stable growth of the town.
Townmaster’s Hand
Section titled Townmaster’s HandThe second-in-command within Phandalin. They aid the local businesses on a day-to-day basis and make sure things are operating smoothly.
The position is currently un-occupied following the discovery of the death of Joseph Grimm; the previous holder of the title.

Points of Interest
Section titled Points of Interest​A bar, brothel, and inn all-in-one. Located underneath the town in the ruins of some long forgotten stone structure presumably built by the town’s previous population many centuries ago.
