Session 015

• The party in Amylthas head to speak to Adabra when they hear talking stop upon their approach
• They see Dagult Neverember leaving Adabra’s room as he says to Alberic to ‘keep up the good work’
• The party speak with Adabra asking her about the election; to which she says some delays to the election will happen as they investigate all the recent events first.
• Meanwhile, Leodel heads to the North port on the outer ring of Amylthas to return to Phandalin - following the request from Erolith
• Upon arriving in Phandalin; Leodel heads to the Stonehill Inn and notices the door is locked. Hearing noises from the back room; which he knows is the room reserved for The Bussy Knights, he heads to the window to attempt to grab Pickles’ attention with a small stone
• Leodel fails to grab the attention of Uganda; managing to jump and roll his ankle somewhat in the attempt.
• Uganda Pickles has a dream about visiting a tailor shop with Erolith when they were younger - finding an outfit for his Aunt’s birthday
• The party in Amylthas probe Adabra about what she was talking to Dagult about and she answers “just letting him know about the reason for the delays and reassuring him that we’re aware how valuable his time is
• Salvador; after finding a bed in the Stonehill Inn due to sudden exhaustion, now finds himself in a dream-like state in a sub-liminal space that is completely dark and endless.
• Salvador sees a somewhat corporeal form of Drengen in front of him when he has a flashback about the events that occurred in his past.
• Salvador recalls that he was a human; somehow fighting on the side of the Demons, who lived in one of the planes of hell. He was bisected by The Crimson Knight and only rescued after Drengen; also bisected by TCK, used what remained of his magic to combine their lifeforces together.
• Drengen; now speaking with his usual eloquent voice, demands Salvador hand over control of the body to him. Drengen and Salvador struggle for control of their shared physical body.
• Leodel hears snoring coming from the upper room and also some incoherent babbling by Pickles
• Shortly after, Leodel hears the front door unlock and open. He heads towards the entrance and into the foyer - casting detect magic to sense that the door was opened magically.
• He sees a blur dash towards the back kitchens of the Inn - but he decides to check up on his friends first.
• He knocks before he enters; which wakes Uganda from his sleep, as they both see a firey aura surrounding Salvador as he convulses in his sleep and is sweating profusely.
• Leodel and Uganda attempt wake Salvador with mixed results.
• By using his skill in Persuasion, Arcana, and Acrobatics - alongside the help of his friends. Salvador is able to steel his spirit and resist the possession attempt of Drengen.
• Salvador wakes up; drenched in his own sweat, with the understanding that overusing Drengen’s powers comes with a risk that he might awaken the Devil fully again.
• Only a moment later; before anyone could check their surroundings, a flash passes through the room as a blade slashes through the chest of Uganda.
• The party in Phandalin realise it is Morrow; the Sister of the Wight who they encountered only a day ago in the Underground Fun house.
• A short battle takes place in the party’s room in which Uganda Pickles was knocked unconscious by multiple swipes of Morrow’s Shortsword.
• Salvador - unable to fell the creature before it would land a killing blow on Pickles, called for help via the Sending Stone linked to the one carried by Fill Werrell
• Just as Morrow looked be landing the killing blow - Captain Kellam Oladi jumped through the window and entered the room.
• Oladi rapidly tended to Pickles; forcing a health potion down his throat.
• Pickles; now conscious, charged up a Firebolt, dealing a chunk of damage and exposing Morrow’s weakness to fire.
• Morrow; seeing it is outnumbered, charged it’s blade and ripped another tear in space that it hopped through to escape.
• Oladi rapidly escorted the three party members back to Amylthas as the 4 men were rocketed up to the city using a higher speed transport disc.
• A minute later - Oladi, Salvador, Pickles, and Leodel - arrived in Amylthas. They were greeted by 8 Elven figures standing tall in white, distinct, double-breasted jackets.
• The party in Amylthas rushed the North port to meet their comrades, arriving a few minutes or so afterwards. Fill recognised the figures in the white jackets as the “Investigative Guild” of the Royal Family of Amylthas.
• Haestus Pickles arrives after that; directing the figures, and one of the figures waves their hands and restores Uganda’s health to full, healing all the physical wounds with nary a scratch or scar.
• ”After Pickles and Oladi walk off; Oladi speaks into the Wing on his collar saying “Erolith - get down here to guard the prince while we secure everything. He’s your mess so clean it up.""
• Erolith and a woman in a silver dress appear moments later; with the woman’s heels making a very distinct click on the street.
• Fill recognises the woman as Queen Cucumber Pickles. Uganda approaches his mother for comfort after the ordeal of the day.
• At the sight of the Queen, Mike is struck by a weird sensation where he has a flashback where he; as a young boy, and the Queen are walking through the streets of Elrand, and standing next to the Queen was his adoptive father; Dixon Normus, wearing a similar outfit to the one worn by Kellam Oladi
• After regaining his composure, Mike is unknowingly bowing in her presence.
• The Queen calms everyone’s emotions with a wave of her hand as she makes introductions with everyone and thanks them for looking after her son.
• She hurries off with her assistants and guards as she instructs Erolith to take them all to a Milk bar; to satiate Uganda’s desire for milk.
• Erolith takes the party to Ernie’s milk bar; a establishment run by three copies of the same person named Ernie.
• The party enjoy beverages while they reconvene about their separate adventures. They discuss further actions.
• Leodel is encouraged to speak to Andel Yon; trying to get more information out of him about Dagult and his actions.
• While on the way back to Andel’s room; Alberic feels a sudden need to meditate on all the events that have occurred - heading to their shared quarters in Room 6.
• Leodel is left to enter Andel’s room alone as Salvador and Uganda head to the entertainment district for some archery, and Fill and Mike head to check in on Loogan Poole
• The two play multiple rounds; managing to hit at least one bullseye each, and winning some stuffed toys as prizes.
• Meanwhile, Fill and Mike are told that Loogan is still not properly conscious and has only awoken briefly and was incomprehensible at the time.
• Fill attempted to channel his deific link to identify and aid with Loogan’s affliction - managing to identify it was a spiritual trauma after the events that had transpired.
• Fill was able to provide Loogan some spiritual comfort - allowing him to rest easy for a time. His affliction was not cured, only ailed for a time.
• The act caught the attention of a red-haired young elvish woman from the Griffyn Corps - who probed Fill about the religious practices of the Church of Christmas. The two talked for some time about the religion.
• Leodel; attempting to gather Andel’s attention, took out his lute and began playing along to the music that was playing from his room. The song started to change and switch into one of Ander Prazes’ songs. Leodel’s performance managed to sway Andel into letting enter.
• Andel invited Leodel in to share in a glass of wine. Leodel did so with some caution; casting detect magic to see that the door and the music were magical in some manner.
• Andel and Leodel spoke for a while over the wine; speaking about music, Ander, and Leodel’s lute.
• Andel admitted he was jealous of Leodel for being so close to Ander for many years
• Leodel; after finishing his glass of wine, asks Andel what he truly thinks of Dagult.
• Andel says he and Dagult were young men around the same time - having gone to a school in Neverwinter before The Ruining changed the city forever.
• Andel spoke about how conflicted he felt about Dagult, believing he once was a good man and still could be, but has seen how he does the right thing for the wrong reasons.
• Andel says he doesn’t feel he can say “No” to Dagult out of fear Dagult might do to him what he has heard was done to Ander Praze.
• Andel praises Leodel saying “I can’t say for sure - but I believe Ander would be proud of who you are now.”
• The session closes with Andel imploring Leodel to become a hero and expose Dagult for the man he truly is before asking Leodel for some privacy.
