Session 014

• Party speaks to Adabra
• Heads to Stadium right away
• Fill notices the cloaked figures
• Party speaks with Randall; Fill and Mike begin to swoon for him
• Halia requests the party find evidence to prevent Dagult from participating or winning the election
• Fill and Mike head to speak to Loogan while Alberic and Leodel speak to Vok
• Speaking with Loogan; Fill infers that he’s distressed and scared about something in the corner of the room behind them.
• Fill makes sparks using prestidigitation and is struck by a dagger across the shoulder
• Mike and Fill look on as the assailant; a cloaked figure, slashes the same dagger across the throat of Loogan Poole who looked terrified
• The figure escapes the room with Mike giving chase; using misty step and his natural athletic capabilities to close the gap
• Fill casts a healing spell and resuscitates Loogan - only for them both to suffer a shock of pain that knocked Loogan unconscious again
• Mike continued the chase and used acrobatics to copy the movements of the assailant and cover more distance between them
• Fill contacted Oladi about the incident and shortly afterwards Erolith and 4 Gryffin Corps members came to stretcher the two men out of the room
• Meanwhile, Vok tells Leodel and Alberic that they don’t really want to win the election.
• Alberic says they might be able to use Vok to draw Dagult out
• Mike attempts to intimidate the assailant but fails to gain any traction of them
• Alberic hears the sound of people outside the door and sees the scene of Fill and Loogan being stretchered away
• Erolith speaks with Fill once he wakes up and encourages them to be more careful if they continue investigating; warning him of being too trustful of Dagult or any of the candidates, specifically Halia.
• Alberic speaks with Erolith and he and Leodel are escorted to a private room on the 2nd floor; where he sees floorboards above him and hears pacing across the floor. He knows that the room above him is Dagult’s personal chambers for the election.
• Erolith requests that someone head back to Phandalin to protect Uganda Pickles in case an attack is made on his life. Leodel volunteers as he is feeling shaken by the sudden and real consequences of going against Dagult’s wishes is felt by people he cares for
• Mike uses his stealth to hide in the assailants peripheral vision and closes the gap mostly in the process
• Alberic and Fill meet up at the entrance to the hallway before their private room - Alberic plans to speak to Halia about the attack, while Fill; unsure of who to trust, speaks to Adabra first.
• Mike; using his skills developed by training in the wild with Dixon, forms a lasso with rope from his bag while chasing the assailant and manages to catch their foot in the loop to close the gap entirely.
• Mike and the assailant duke it out but the assailant escape
• Alberic speaks with Halia about the attack on Loogan Poole
• Adabra warns Fill of trusting Halia; even if they have a common enemy at the moment.
• The party reconvene after Fill and Alberic have their conversations
• They relay their information to each other and plan to speak to Andel Yon; the associate of Dagult who is also running in the election, for more information about Dagult.
• Try as they might; the party are unable to speak with Andel as he refuses to open his door no matter what angle they try to throw at him.
• The session closes with the party unsure what to do next; heading to speak to Adabra for guidance.
